| Topaz Lake is an outdoor lovers paradise
with camping, fishing, boating, water skiing and gambling all at the
lake.
A fishing license from either state is honored on the entire lake.
The lake is known for it's trophy trout (rainbows and browns) which
can be caught from January 1 through September 30.
Topaz is popular with boaters, jet skiers, personal water crafts
and water skiers.
A Douglas county camping park is on
the north-east side with RV hookups and tent spots as well.
Nevada style gambling is located on the
west shore which contains slots to blackjack to craps tables. |
Topaz lake is fed by the famous West
Walker river, well known for it's great fishing from the last
Saturday of April through the last day of September.
Topaz is popular with boaters and water skiers who generally keep
their distance from the anglers. The north side and the west shore
have a few home sites. You'll find picnic grounds, camping and boat
launching facilities located at the north east shore of the lake. |
